Please ensure you understand the products well when shopping, and feel free to use our expert support to clear up any technical questions. Packaging and shipping is an expensive and resource-intensive task. So we must avoid all kinds of potential errors of ordering incorrect products.

Some of the products in our collections are returnable within the practical return window if you’ve received them in a condition that has missing parts or accessories, is defective, or is different from their description on the product detail page on Cykel.lk.

After receiving the products, if you see any manufacturing defects, please report to us immediately, within a period of SEVEN (7) DAYS after product delivery, with a valid reason for a product return adhering to the manufacturer’s warranty policies. Please note that you may have to bear return shipping costs and initiate the return shipment from your behalf with proper packaging and return of shipment received using the most reliable courier companies, addressing our shipping return center in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

The following shall not be eligible for a return or replacement:

  • Damages due to misuse of product.
  • Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product.
  • A consumable item that has been used, washed, or installed.
  • Product that is returned without all original packaging, price tags, and accessories, including the product box, manufacturer’s packaging, if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered.
  • Gift vouchers
  • The following categories are not qualified for returns or Exchange: Bicycles, Home Trainers, Rims, Wheels, Floor Pumps, Frame Kits, Forks/Suspensions, Repair Stands, Bicycle Internal Components, Car Racks, Triathlon Suits, Inner Wears, Masks, Nutrition items, Bike Transport Bags, Sunglasses, Mudguards, Fluids, etc.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item with obvious signs of use.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Refunds

We’ll need to initiate all product returns or refunds only after we’ve received a return approval.

Once the item is duly returned to the manufacturer or representative distributor, or us upon satisfactory inspection and resolution of any applicable warranty policies by the manufacturers, we will be offering a replacement of the product or an equal amount of store credit as per guidance by the manufacturer of returned product. 

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return or refund.

Return will be processed only if: 

  • it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
  • the product is not different from what was shipped to you;
  • the product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s box, all tags intact, user manual, warranty card, and all the accessories therein).
  • Products may not be eligible for return in some cases, including cases of buyer’s remorse such as incorrect model or color of the product ordered or faulty product ordered.
  • Products not qualified as “non-returnable” cannot be returned. Example: Bicycles, Home Trainers, Mudguards, etc. However, in the unlikely event of a damaged, defective, or wrong item being delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or replacement, as applicable. We may contact you to ascertain the product’s damage or defect before issuing a refund/replacement. We reserve the right to pick up the product to verify the damage or weakness in the product before issuing a refund/replacement.
  • Products may be eligible for replacement only if we have the same item in stock. 
  • A single exchange per product is applicable.
  • All promotional items (if applicable) must be returned with the shipment, if received, along with the original purchase order.
  • If the replacement request is placed and the seller has a different product in stock, a store credit will be issued to you. 
  • Suppose customers misuse the return policy by excessively returning, canceling, or not accepting the orders placed. In that case, Cykel reserves the right to warn, suspend, block, and terminate such customer accounts as necessary.
  • If you’ve received a non-returnable product in a damaged/defective condition, you can contact us within seven days of the delivery of the product.
  • Original shipping charges paid by the customer for the initial order are non-refundable, as the shipping expenses are already paid to reach the product to the customer.
  • A return may involve all or part of the same order.
  • The customer will bear all return expenses towards the return packaging/shipping/insurance costs.
  • The customer may have to initiate and arrange the shipment from their location if Cykel doesn’t have an accessible courier in the customer’s location for the reverse pickup of the shipment.
  • Customers must use only well-reputed couriers with proper tracking facilities to return products. We suggest that you keep the shipments to secure the return shipments.
  • The customer will be solely responsible for the return shipment and its return to us in the original condition. Any loss or theft of shipment during transit will need to be addressed by the customer with the couriers. If products or packaging is found damaged at the time of delivery, we reserve the right to void the return as the returned damaged product will not be eligible for refund/store credit.
  • The customer must retain any proof of return, which implies that the items be returned by registered mail or default by any other means giving a specific date to this email and the ability to follow the shipment tracking. The return tracking details must be communicated to us soon after initiating the return.
  • Once the return shipment is received in our return center, and the consignment is duly examined and approved by the supplier of the returned product and us, the order cancellation will be approved. Once the product reaches us, the process usually takes 7 to 14 working days to get approval from various parties, including payment gateway/banks/third-party suppliers/manufacturers, etc. An approved, successful cancellation that duly adheres to the return conditions will result in an equivalent store credit to the customer can be used to purchase other products.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected]k and send your item to our store.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 206A, Galle Road, Colombo – 4, Sri Lanka.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
